A little about me....
My name is Amanda Herring and I am The Quilted Fish. I have a background in art, fashion design and interior design so when I started quilting it was the final piece in my puzzle. I grew up with a mom that told me I could do anything and that encouragement really stuck with me. I love to try new things and think outside the box. I am loud and I love to have fun and laugh. I think that those things come across in my patterns. They are fun and whimsical and always easy to make. I hope that, through my patterns, I can share my joy of creating with the world!

I commented on your new blog last night when I came across it through a search I was doing for fish quilts. Now I have come accross your old site. Can you tell me how moving your site went. I have contemplated moving some content before, but thought I might lose a bunch of traffic if I did. Can you describe why you changed and what your experience was like?
